Quick Tips To Save More With Tesco Car Insurance
Apply online: Tesco will discount premiums for new customers by up to 10% simply for buying a
policy online (since, obviously, that entails lower cost for them, so they pass on that saving in the form of lower
premiums).
Multi-product discount: If you currently use another financial product provided by Tesco (such
as a Clubcard Credit Card, or even another car insurance policy), then you could receive an additional discount of
up to 5%.
Put your partner on the same policy: If you insure your spouse or partner on the same vehicle
as yourself, the premium will be even cheaper. (If you're wondering why this might be so, it's because of lowered
risk; all insurance is about risk, and the lower the risk, the lower the cost. If two people use the same
car then, statistically, one will not be driving it 100% of the time, meaning less chance of driver fatigue and
tiredness and, thus, statistically-safer driving on the part of both insured people.)
Make Full Use of Your Tesco Clubcard Too!
If you have a Tesco Clubcard, provide the number when requesting a quotation for car insurance. Subject to a
minimum premium, that will earn you a discount of 5% - something that is exclusive to Clubcard holders! And, even
better, this discount is applied after any other applicable discounts have been calculated.
And, if that wasn't enough, you'll also get 1 Clubcard point for every €1 you spend on car insurance with Tesco
Car Insurance too!
